By applying to or participating in the Gentle Words Studio Affiliate Programme, you agree to these terms.
- Approval
All affiliate applications are reviewed by Gentle Words Studio. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We may approve, reject, suspend or close an affiliate account when reasonably necessary to protect our customers, reputation or programme.
- Commission
The standard affiliate commission is 25% of the qualifying sale amount, excluding refunds, reversals, chargebacks, taxes and any non-commissionable charges.
A commission is recorded only when a customer completes an eligible purchase through a valid affiliate tracking link. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fraudulent transactions and purchases made primarily to earn commission are not permitted.
- Tracking
Affiliate referrals are tracked for 30 days using cookies. Where more than one affiliate has referred a customer, credit is given according to the tracking rules used by our affiliate system. Gentle Words Studio cannot guarantee tracking when cookies are blocked, deleted or bypassed.
- Approval and refunds
Commissions remain subject to a 14-day grace period. Refunded, cancelled, reversed, fraudulent or unpaid transactions will not qualify for commission. Any related commission may be rejected or deducted from a future payout.
- Payouts
The minimum affiliate payout is R250. Eligible payouts will normally be reviewed and processed monthly using an available payment method agreed with the affiliate. Affiliates are responsible for supplying accurate payment information and for their own tax obligations.
- Honest promotion and disclosure
Affiliates must promote Gentle Words Studio honestly and must not make false, misleading or unsubstantiated claims. Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship in promotional content, for example: “I may earn a commission if you purchase through this link.”
Affiliates may not claim to be employees, representatives, partners or agents of Gentle Words Studio.
- Prohibited promotion
Affiliates may not use spam, unsolicited bulk messages, misleading advertisements, fake testimonials, trademark bidding, impersonation, unlawful content or content that exploits or frightens parents. Affiliates may not promise medical, psychological, developmental or guaranteed parenting outcomes.
- Brand and materials
Approved affiliates may use authorised Gentle Words Studio links and promotional materials solely for promoting eligible products and services. Brand materials may not be altered in a misleading or harmful way.
- Changes and termination
Gentle Words Studio may update commission rates, eligible products or these terms with reasonable notice. Either party may end participation at any time. Valid approved commissions earned before termination remain payable, subject to these terms.
- Acceptance
By submitting an affiliate application, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you agree to these Affiliate Terms and Conditions.
