Seller and contact
The website is operated by Madelaine Strydom trading as Gentle Words Studio in South Africa. Questions may be sent to madelaine@gentlewordsstudio.co.za.
Products and orders
Product descriptions, prices and availability are displayed on the relevant product page. Prices are shown in South African rand unless stated otherwise. An order is accepted when payment is successfully processed and an order confirmation is issued. We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before fulfilling an order and will refund any affected payment if the order cannot be fulfilled.
Digital delivery
Digital products are supplied through an electronic download or access link. You are responsible for supplying a correct email address and using a compatible device and PDF reader. Contact us if a valid order is not delivered.
Personal-use licence
Unless a product expressly states otherwise, your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive licence for personal or single-household use. Teachers may use a resource with their own class only where the product description permits classroom use. Files may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded to sharing sites, copied for unrelated families or organisations, or presented as another person’s work.
Educational scope
Gentle Words Studio products and content provide educational and general parenting support. They do not replace medical, psychological, legal, diagnostic or emergency advice. Results differ between children and families, and no particular outcome is guaranteed.
Payments
Payments are processed through the payment methods offered at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the information supplied is accurate.
Refunds and cancellations
Our Refund and Returns Policy explains the process for digital-product problems, refunds and third-party purchases. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Adults should make purchases and enquiries; sensitive information about a child should not be submitted through a general website form.
Intellectual property
The website, books, courses, downloads, branding and original teaching materials belong to Gentle Words Studio or the credited rights holder. No purchase transfers ownership of intellectual property.
Website availability and liability
We take reasonable steps to keep the website accurate and available, but access may occasionally be interrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gentle Words Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or educational materials. This does not limit liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
